Meaning of Defense Contract Management Command
[obsolete] The DoD representative for Contract Administration. DCMC is part of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). A Contractor with a large amount of defense Business will have a DCMC Contract administration team located at the plant on a full time basis. DCMC became DCMA, separate from DLA. Cf.
