Add Path request
Add Path request A request made by the network to add a path using the Add Path packet, which establishes a multi-hop path between two network nodes. Although the two nodes are usually the source and destination nodes of a VWP, there are cases in which other nodes might want to establish a path between them. Unlike the Restore Path request, the Add Path request is never flooded, it is instead forwarded using information carried in the path itself (source routing).
