GATT 1994
GATT 1994: General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994. The new version of the general Agreement, which governs trade in goods. It is the formal name for the GATT 1947 and the collected amendments, interpretations, additions, etc. to it made since its entry into force. It is a part of the agreement establishing the WTO, and it has no independent legal status. It consists, in addition to the provisions contained in the GATT 1947 (not the GATT 1947 agreement itself), of protocols and certifications relating to tariff
